Myriam Hetjonk: An Indian gentleman at my work got his wife a visa to come to U.S. and it took him almost a year and half. however from the time she applies for a Green Card, depending her application and any legal issues that might have, it would take about 6 month to 2 years ( got the info from people at my work- I got 27 countries working for me!!) to get the green cardd. from then on she has to be! a green card holder residing in U.S. for 5 years to become a U.S. citizen.
