Magda Vandergriend: Interesting that you should presume to tell me what l think.Yes, l know the meaning pf the word hypocrisy. Do you? Just asking because the word has no relevance to your other two questions
Melina Minneweather: If you could it might rate as animal cruelty... cats are not vegans (people shouldn't be either)
Clifford Gombos: Because I think that there is a lot of sh*t wrong with this world; racism, war, abuse, violence. That includes violence and abuse towards animals and the environment too, which is a result of the food industry. I don't agree with the way animals are exploited for human use and I DEFINITELY do not agree with how they are so badly mistreated, I think it's disgusting. I also can't imagine consuming another living beings' flesh. So I choose not to.
Hope Lundmark: from my research, there is no such thing as vegan cat food. they do have a vegetarian cat food that is meant to be fed to a cat along with meat. basically it j! ust reduces the amount of meat that the cat gets. cheap cat food does the same thing. Yep, cats can't survive on a vegetarian diet. dogs can.
Coy Tapley: Just in case you wanted to know delusional vegans are?
Ollie Hamiel: I am non-veg considering that my father and mother have been non-veg. But now after I learn a announcement of LORD BUDHHA , I have virtually stopped consuming non-veg. LORD BUDHA stated--- U have taken thousands of rebirths on the earth. So regularly those lambs or pigs or chook have been ur father, mom uncles or youngsters. Why to devour flesh of ur father and mother and so forth.? Swami Ramdev explains -- When u get indignant , u begin sweating, begin trembling and so forth, whilst u are afraid , u begin sweating , trembling and so forth. Why ? Because there r secretions of harmones and so forth. within frame. So u can realize what number of unhealthy secretions take location whilst an animal is killed . Eating one of these flesh may be very! unhealthy for intellectual wellness. Now u see such a lot of ! swine/cow/chook -flu and so forth are spreading because of animals. Moreover Nature has no longer made us to devour non-veg. Because a non-veg consuming animal has very lengthy gut to digest it however v have small one. V don't have teeths like tiger. All non-veg eater animals drink water through tongue however v drink like cow....Show more
Jene Licausi: "So humans eating animals is actually a good thing for the Earth. If we didn't eat them, they would overpopulate, become too much for the animals that eat them to control"Have you never heard of a farm that specifically breeds these animals for human consumption? Pretty much any meat in the grocery store was not hunted in the wild, it was farmed by humans, for humans (with some exceptions, ie, some fish). It's not about "saving" animals. Think about what would be the immediate and long-term effects of half the population suddenly becoming vegetarian. Some meat eaters spout phrases like, "for every animal you don't eat! , I'll eat 2", but realistically, half of the meat in stores will spoil. Because of this, these stores will only make a half order next time, and then eventually production will drop to half of what it used to be, because only half of it is being bought. The numbers won't match up exactly, but that's the gist of what would happen. It's not at all about "saving" animals, it's about preventing the breeding, and potential suffering, of animals....Show more
Ulysses Failey: I used to be vegetarian and am now vegan. I changed to veganism for many reasons. It is great for the animals, and it is much better for your health. I have suffered with three different mental disorders throughout the years including severe bipolar, and have found that my moods are A LOT different as a vegan then when I ate meat. It also makes you feel good as a person to know that you are not any part of an animals suffering. Those animals go through so much hell until they die an even more brutal dea! th, and I for one do not want to be any part of it....Show more
H! ans Sachetti: humans breed cow and chickens. if people stopped eating them we would stop breeding them and their populations would shrink. the deer population would rise but then fall as resources (food) fell and the population would find a balance.
Coralie Goldsberry: I became a vegetarian for certain reasons, when i eat meat, I break out from eating it too often. Secondly, I dont like the taste (yeah i know). So much animal-cruelty out there, after taking so many classes and seeing how much animals suffered to turn into food made me sick. I want to go vegan, but its too hard. I'm trying my best to help out and educate people to go at least vegetarian at least once a week. Also being a vegetarian, my friend lost a lot of weight, now she's healthy, and she cut her risk of having cardiovascular disease which tends to run down in her family....Show more
Ricky Frazer: The whole concept of eating animal guts is just disgusting to me, and being a vegetarian is a lot! healthier.
Dalia Causby: Because like, OMG, those cute little animals are like SO adorable, I just want to scream and pee every time I see them! And, like, OMG, I can save them all from being murdered if I like stop eating meat.
Bryant Pillitteri: They rate animal lives equal to, or in some cases even above, human lives.
Clinton Quant: i think i read somewhere its 6 chicken per person. its not really saving them because they will be eaten by someone else. if everyone become a vegetarian, which thankfully is not going to happen we would just stop breeding the animals
Brenton Cornwall: It was invented by the "Militant Vegans", I hope that NO ONE feeds their cat that crap, capiche?
Kim Gerbino: Well, either way there will always be people buying and eating meat. Becoming a vegetarian isn't going to stop that, no matter what, people will ALWAYS eat meat, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be one. It's your choice. Also, Humans help balance the! population of cows, chicken, pigs, etc. So humans eating animals is ac! tually a good thing for the Earth. If we didn't eat them, they would overpopulate, become too much for the animals that eat them to control, and can affect then entire food chain....Show more
Virgil Loatman: Doing my part to stop animal cruelty. Hopefully someday we will live in a world where killing animals is illegal. Except spiders. *steps on spider* Ahh!
Refugio Gastineau: Yeah, that can't be good for the cat... Probably as unhealthy as an animal product diet is for humans, so parents feeding their children one would be just as delusional
Florencia Manolakis: The edible flesh industries would scale back their productivity if the majority of people didn't ingest the muscle tissue of fellow beings. It's not a question of how much meat is saved by there being vegetarians, it's a question of how much is produced to meet existing interest.
Patricia Bolduc: Hypocrite? Well I'd like an explanation of your reasoning there.I didn't say I'm against other p! eople eating meat. These things are complex ethical quandaries. I don't want to eat meat because there is no reason for me to eat it, and the industry only causes more suffering for both humans amd animals... I don't need meat, so why would I contribute to that suffering?...Show more
Danica Timperman: the animal processing videos in science class, (blechh), then some research on my own, and the 'meet your meat', video.
Elvin Weichbrodt: Because my cat isn't, so I have to be a veg to balance out the cruelty :)
Patricia Dornbos: You can get your vet to give you "Taurine" drops the mineral cats get from meat, also a bit of flax seed oil can help with the Omegas, but cats do not thrive on a vegan diet, and can have kidney issues, I feed mine a homemade food with quinoa, TVP, chicken livers and a mix of veg and dairy items, he loves it.
Rashad Marecki: In kindergarten I found out meat was made of animals, so I stopped eating it.
Peggy Sandefer: That! s cat abuse. Cats are carnivores.
Abby Herwood: It's just yuck ..! I see it as like greedy and over indulgence ..
Ezekiel Kadner: My friend was a vegetarian and it always interested me. One day I did some research about it and after discovering how animals were killed and processed, I gave up meat overnight.
Darrel Stele: I used this for feeding a colony of feral cats, they did fine on it.
Daria Verfaillie: I love animals. And my mon is doctor, she teach me that we are like veggie animals, so one day a stop eating meat.
Dulcie Edis: i have no ideaim not veggie to 'save meat' im veggie to not eat animalsall i know is, its an obvious fact that when soceity stops doing, buying , wanting something, the suppliers have to go along with itwe have some power , but we dont use it ;-)...Show more
Zulema Baccam: That is true but i feed my cat meat because all felines are carnivores.
Cristopher Gavalis: hmmm.. What about free range cows, with a microchip implant, that voluntarily visit milking stations to receive a ! dose of MDMA, so they go voluntarily. The cows are genetically engineered or chemically treated to give milk without pregnancy. this reflects some of my approach to the allegedly naughty humans. Let em all go, microchip em, and reward harmless behavior chemically, without harming them. For extreme cases, even voluntary human solitary is possible with harmless chemical rewards...Show more
Gerardo Greist: to you?
Karie Mavle: i not. sorrrzzz. :(
Marcelle Vanlith: Zero. Not a single farm or slaughterhouse cuts loose a single animal just because a person becomes a vegetarian. And it is just plain ridiculous to say that " I save animals from being born into ..." because you cannot save anything that does not yet exist. That's like saying "I saved my child from being a victim of crime by having an abortion". The PETA suggestion that it's 100 animals a year is even stupider. No one sets aside 100 animals a year for each person to eat then releases it if you ! become a vegetarian....Show more
Lauri Ohl: No, cats need meat to! survive. There is vegan dog food, but you should never switch a dog to a vegan diet without being educated on it, the dog will become ill otherwise.
Brittanie Zakutney: Talk about being vegetarian saving animal lives is not as straight forward as it sounds but basically if eating meat caused the death of 100 animals in a year then by not eating meat you obviously are not indirectly responsible for the death of 100 animals per year. Abstaining from meat is not going to save any animals in the short run but it will in the long run as a decrease in demand will lead to producers reducing supply through a reduction in breeding. Simple economics. As stated by others here, as the vast majority of animals we eat are domesticated and bred, cutting back on meat consumption will not lead to overpopulation of those animals....Show more
Jefferson Sarson: Yes but it needs to be illegal since it causes the cat to DIE. Cats and dogs are carnivores and nee meat to live but vegan! s love to torture neglect and abuse their pets and kids since they can control them
Violette Vanek: by not eating those animals...???also if a majority of people chose to be vegetarians wouldn't the earth have an over crowding of cows...chickens...deer...etc...???
Kirk Coolbeth: i am vegetarian bc i love animals and also when i was 9 i saw my dads side of the family kill a live pig and since then i didnt touch meat that much then at 14 i stoped eating meat at all
