August Hubbard: if you have a dollar store, you can find wooden boxes and have them decorate them. For themselves or their parents. For 7 yr olds, maybe sock puppets. Yarn for hair, googley eyes, lipstick or marker for the mouth, felt for a tie, etc. Also at a dollar store, you can pick up flip flop shoes have them decorate them with beads, ribbons, yarn, puffy glue, etc.
