Leif Serabia: amigo de telcel does not have international roaming... that's why it supposedly "cheaper" than having a plan cell phone. other companies do have international roaming, i think telefonica does... the problem here is telcel...
Tosha Tawney: The cell phone service has to have what is called an MOU or Memorandum of Understanding with a U.S. carrier(in this case either GSM carriers Cingular or T-Mobile, who by the way is a world-wide carrier despite the coverage in the U.S.). Once that is in place, the correct rate plan would allow you to roam. I would say ask Telcel if they have the ability to roam and with whom, so there are no problems.
