Rosalva Steinmann: Since your home theater has "AUX", your are in luck. The "AUX" refers to a specific physical line level input on the unit. Most likely, on the back there are two RCA jacks that are red and white labeled "AUX". All that you'll need is a 3.5mm stereo phone plug to RCA cable and you're set! And depending on what ipod you have, you can get a 3.5mm av phone plug to RCA cable, the difference being three or four contacts on the phone plug. The fourth (from the tip) carries composite video, using the same "common" as the audio. So you can actually play music and video from your ipod! If you go for the av four contact cable, be sure to look for the four contacts AND red, white, and yellow RCA plugs on the other end. Of course, the "AUX" on your theater unit should have the corresponding jacks- red, white, and yellow. Enjoy!...Show more
Irma Poiter: You have to put the aux cable in the aux hole or it won't work.
Damion Oleksa: Aux cable.
